Mark has more than twenty-five years experience in the food industry and has completed more than twenty successful M&A transactions. He joined Tate & Lyle in 1995 and latterly was both Director of Investor Relations and Head of M&A. He designed and led an international investor communication programme and participated in 3 successful corporate bond issues. In a varied career with Tate’s he has been a Divisional Finance Director, established and chaired a venture fund, set up and rolled out a Global Risk Management programme, led a Change Management programme and was a Pension trustee director and Chairman of the Investment Management Committee. He spent approximately 10 years living outside the UK working in tropical agriculture with Booker. Mark is married with two grown up children and lives in Cornwall and London. When Mark’s not thinking about the food industry he enjoys body boarding in the Cornish surf and golf.
