Oghma Partners LLP T1 2010 Food & Beverage M&A Update
Oghma Partners LLP, the food & beverage focused corporate finance boutique, is pleased to
announce the publication of its latest review of M&A activity for the first four months of 2010

Some of the key points to emerge from the analysis of the transaction data for T1 include;
Ex Cadbury/Kraft, a doubling in the value of transactions in the period; deal volume however
remained similar to last year highlighting an increase in average deal size. Overseas buyers
increased their level of activity accounting for 30% of buyers in the period. Activity from
financial buyers remained modest.
Aside from analysis of M&A activity the report also reviews current quoted company valuations
as well as providing data, where available, on multiples paid for recent acquisitions.
