Mark has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. Prior to establishing Oghma Partners in 2008, Mark was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he oversaw coverage of the European Consumer Sector covering the Food, Beverage, Tobacco, Household, Retail, Media and Luxury Goods sectors. Mark also previously held positions at UBS Warburg, BZW (now CSFB) and Credit Lyonnais.
Mark has worked with a number of leading companies in the consumer industry. Prior to Oghma Partners, he worked on the IPO’s of Coca-Cola Beverages, Cantrell & Cochrane and McBride Plc (amongst others) and Rights Issue/Placing for Hillsdown Holdings and Numico. He was also broker to Unilever, Hillsdown, Cadbury, BAT, McBride, Albert Fisher and Gallagher. At Oghma Mark has worked with clients including Barclays, Big Bear Group, Cargill, Dairygold, Greencore, IDB, Innserve, Provexis, Symingtons, Revolymer and Unilever. Outside of Oghma’s direct clients Mark maintains key relationships with many of the leading players in the industry.
Previously in his career Mark has led the No.1 Extel rated Food and Tobacco Team, Mark was also the No. 1 Extel rated Household Products Analyst and has been twice voted among the top ten analysts in the City of London across all sectors of the UK stock market.
Mark has a BSc Econ from Brunel University and a PGcertAH in Architectural History from Oxford University. Mark lives in Richmond, Surrey. Married with four children, his hobbies include sailing, surfing, skiing, vintage cars and Fulham Football Club.

Tim has worked in Investment Banking for over 25 years. Prior to joining Oghma Partners in 2009 he was Head of Corporate Finance at Glitnir, the Icelandic bank, where his team was focused on the international food and consumer sectors. Tim also spent five years as a Director at Citigroup, where as part of the European Consumer Group he worked on a variety of transactions across the spectrum of Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets in the food and beverage areas. He also previously worked for HSBC Securities and NatWest Securities as an Equity Research Analyst covering the food manufacturing sector, and Robert Fleming where he again focused on Mergers & Acquisitions in the food and beverage space.
Tim’s key relationships are with AAK, Cargill, DS Smith, Greencore, Kerry Group, Solina, Tate & Lyle and Unilever. He has also worked on transactions with AB Inbev/SAB Miller, Adelie Foods, Alfesca, Arla, Associated British Foods, Bakkavor, Barclays, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola Hellenic, DSM, Heineken, House of Fraser, Icelandic Group, Kraft, NBGI, Nissui, Johnson & Johnson, Northern Foods, Premier Foods, Softbox, Tetley and United Biscuits.
Tim has a BScEcon and a PhD from the University of Wales and an MSc from London Business School. He also spent four years as an officer in the Royal Marines. Tim lives near Bath with his wife and 5 children.

Tim has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. Before establishing Oghma Partners with Mark Lynch, Tim was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs (1999 -07) where he worked alongside Mark covering the Food and Beverage sector. Prior to this, Tim worked at UBS, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Vickers Da Costa. He has significant experience reviewing businesses and offering advice to both investors and corporates and has been involved in many IPO’s and reviewed numerous transactions, plus he has commented widely on company strategies within the Food and Beverage Industry.
Tim has worked with companies including Albert Fisher, Hillsdown Holdings, Cadbury, Coca-Cola Beverages, Unilever and United Biscuits
Tim is married and lives in Buckinghamshire. His hobbies include cricket, wine appreciation and skiing. Tim is also a Non-Executive Director of a private property company.

Carolyn has 15 years’ experience in Corporate Finance. She joined Oghma Partners in April 2010, having previously worked for Virgin Holidays as Head of Strategy and Development, Glitnir (now Islandsbanki) as Associate Director in the Corporate Finance team and Rabobank as an M&A Associate. Throughout her career in M&A, Carolyn has specialised in deals in the food and beverage, retail, leisure and packaging industries with a focus on mid-market, UK and cross-border transactions.

Carolyn, a British/French national, graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University (UK) with a Masters of Engineering (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering. She is married with two children and lives in London.
Associate Director
Caroline joined the expanding Oghma team as an analyst in 2010 and was promoted to Associate in 2011. Caroline has worked on the following transactions whilst at Oghma Partners; the purchase of Windyridge Cheese Ltd (2011); acting in a co-advisory role to Greencore on their acquisition of Uniq plc (2011); the sale of chilled meat free business Dragonfly Foods (2012); the sale of McCambridge Cake Ltd to NBGI Private Equity (2012) and the sale of the cultures and enzymes division of Cargill to DSM (2012).
Prior to this, she worked at Glitnir from January 2007 to May 2008 as an analyst in the Corporate Finance team, working on a range of projects focussing on the food industry. She subsequently took on a position at BNP Paribas working directly for the CFO.
She graduated from Durham University in 2006 with a BA in Modern European Languages, focusing on French and German.
Associate
Alex joined Oghma Partners in 2014 as an analyst and was promoted to associate in 2017. Whilst at Oghma Partners, Alex has worked on the following transaction: the acquisition of Essential Cuisine by Solina (2018), the sale of Icelandic Group UK to Hilton Food Group (2017).
He graduated from King’s College London in 2013 with First Class Honours in Hispanic Studies and Classical Studies.
Previously he worked at JP Morgan in the UK Financial Institutions Group and UK Industrials, as well as internships with Turcan Connell Asset Management, Henderson Loggie and MacIntyre Hudson Auditing & Corporate Finance.
Alex is bilingual in English and Spanish. His hobbies include music and skiing.
Associate
Oliver joined Oghma Partners in 2016 as an analyst. He graduated from Manchester University with a degree in Economics and Finance in 2014.
Oliver has worked on the following transactions whilst at Oghma: the acquisition of Essential Cuisine by Solina (2018), Maabarot’s investment in Algaia and acquisition of Cargill Alginate business (2017), the acquisition of New Ivory Limited by Solina Group (2016).
Previously he worked for Amplify Trading.
Analyst
Katy qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG within the Information, Communication and Entertainment business unit. Since KPMG, Katy held senior financial roles within the media and marketing communications industry working across the direct marketing, sales promotion and TV post-production sectors. She then moved into the world of corporate finance, managing numerous successful sale transactions across PR, data, digital and brand consultancy disciplines.
